What happens if there is bad weather on the day of my visit?

It is advised that you check the local forecast prior to your visit.

Sunshine Guarantee

In the event of rain, Island H2O Water Park attractions will remain open. If there is severe weather or lightning in the area, guests will be asked to exit the water until the weather passes. If the weather conditions cause all of the rides to close for a continuous 2 hours; or if the park suspends ride operation three times during the day of your visit; and you are leaving for the day – a Sunshine Ticket will be issued for a return visit during the same operating season.

To receive a Sunshine Ticket, please present your ticket stub, ticket receipt, or online proof of purchase to the Front Gate office located at the main entrance as you exit the park. Season Pass, Complimentary & 3rd Party Tickets are not eligible to receive a Sunshine Ticket.

Once rides reopen, Sunshine Tickets will no longer be issued. Sunshine Tickets will not be issued due to weather if the park closes for the day during the last 60 minutes of park operation. No cash refunds. No refunds for parking, locker rentals, cabanas or other park amenities. Please visit our Facebook and Instagram channels for up-to-date posts about full park closures.

When is Island H2O Water Park open?

Island H2O Water Park is a seasonal park operating from March-October. Please check the operating calendar before purchasing a season pass or tickets.

Where are the best places to play with my toddler in the park?

Candy Stripe Cove and Pelican’s Paradise are the two most popular attractions for small children and have been designed with the toddler’s age and skill in mind.

Do you offer group rates?

Yes! Groups of 15 or more qualify for discounts off regularly priced admissions and MUST be purchased 24hrs in advance. Please visit our groups page.

How do I pay for admission?

Island H2O Water Park is cashless! We no longer accept cash at the park. If purchased at the main gate, we accept Visa, MasterCard, & American Express credit cards, as well as Island H2O Water Park gift cards. You must have a valid photo ID to pay with a credit card. If purchased online, we accept Visa, MasterCard, & American Express credit cards. Click “Buy Tickets” in the menu to purchase tickets online.

Make sure when you visit the park, you bring a valid ID AND the exact card that you used to fulfill the transaction.

What is your refund policy?

All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. Tickets are non-transferable and not changeable.

Can I bring my own tubes or rafts?

Guests may not bring any recreational flotation devices into the park. Island H2O Water Park provides life jackets and inner tubes free of charge on a first-come, first-serve basis. Guests may bring their own U.S. Coast Guard approved life jackets.

Can I bring a picnic or a cooler?

No outside food or drinks are allowed in the park unless for specific baby, allergy, or medical needs. However, guests are allowed one unopened plastic water bottle (20 oz or less) per person. During the day, these can be refilled with ice and water ONLY at several locations throughout the park. Soft-sided coolers smaller than 8.5” wide x 6” high x 6” deep are permitted. All other coolers are prohibited.

Can we leave and re-enter the park on the same day?

Yes! Please be sure to go to guest services before you leave to get a stamp to come back in for the day.

What to do if you have lost an item at the park?

Should an item of yours become misplaced while in the park, click here to fill out and submit the following form to report it. A representative from our Security team will respond within 48 hours.

What is the best time to visit Island H2O Water Park?

Every time is the best time to visit Island H2O Water Park. Mid-week is usually the slowest time for the water park and will afford you the greatest opportunity to avoid the peak crowds.

What do I do if my party gets separated?

It is imperative that each family establish a meeting point for family and friends. It is also recommended that younger children be shown the guest services building upon entry into the park, as this is where any lost parents or lost children should report to be re-united with their family. However, any team member may be approached and will assist in locating lost family or friends.

How safe will my family be at Island H2O Water Park?

Island H2O Water Park is staffed by StarGuard Elite certified lifeguards. While it is the duty of the lifeguards to ensure the safety of all guests, we always ask that parents please be mindful of their children and family members. Ride safety rules are posted at each pool and slide. We request that each guest review these thoroughly. Lifejackets are provided throughout the park and their use is encouraged to provide additional safety.

What’s the parking situation like?

Parking is $20 per vehicle. On holidays the parking will be higher at $30 per vehicle. Bus parking is free for full-size buses with 15 or more passengers not including the bus driver. Large vans or minibuses will be assessed a parking fee. Buses will be directed by a parking attendant to park in a section of the main lot. Preferred parking is only available on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays at a cost of $25. Parking is free for Select Season Passes and discounted for preferred.

What are the height requirements/restrictions for each attraction and area?

Do you offer locker rentals?

Yes! We encourage using a locker to store all valuables and personal items. Various sized lockers are available near the restrooms. Lockers can be rented at the lockers station with credit or debit cards.

Does Island H2O Water Park accept cash?

Island H2O Water Park is now cashless! Don’t worry, if you have cash you can trade it in for a pre-paid card via a machine upon arrival.

Are tubes available in the park?

Yes! Courtesy tubes are provided for all slides that require a tube, as well as in Live Lagoon and Chat Creek.

Are changing rooms & showers available?

Yes! Island H2O Water Park offers restrooms/changing rooms throughout the park. Theree are no showers located in the park!

Does Island H2O Water Park provide towels?

Towels are not provided so guests are asked to bring their own. In the event towels are left at home, the Island Outfitters retail shop does have towels available for sale.

Are there payment plans for a season pass?

Payment Plans for Season Passes are available during certain promotions. Please check the Ticket page of our website for latest offers.

Can I cancel my payment plan after I purchase it?

No. These passes are non-refundable including the payment plan portion.

How do I make a payment on my Season Pass?

To make a payment on your Season Pass payment plan, please visit the My Pass section of the website, located under the Season Pass tab. Then enter your information to make a payment.

Are there wheelchairs available?

No, if you require the use of a wheelchair for transportation you must bring your own.

Preferred Parking?

We’ve got the best parking spots reserved! Park like a VIP with Island H2O’s new preferred parking for just $25.

Pass members with included free parking may upgrade for only $10. Don’t circle the lot looking for your spot; Preferred Parking spots are the closest to Island H2O’s front gate and spaces are limited!
